Travel Bug

I don’t know about you, but I’ve have always had the travel bug as long as I can remember. I am always thinking of where I want to go next: Peru, Vietnam, Turkey or perhaps Italy or Thailand again… To me, there is nothing more exciting than flying off to other countries for an adventure, tasting the food, shopping at the markets, walking around to see the architecture, museums and historical sights, attempting to speak the language. The mystery and intrigue of what awaits me when I step off the plane is invigorating. I am torn between being a typical tourist or an amateur cultural anthropologist. I guess a combination of the two is good. Here is a photo of my husband and I at the Taj Mahal a few years ago. I know it looks surrealistic but I assure you this is a real shot, not Photoshop!
